The main idea of GR-Light is to develop the r2r manufacturing technology and the flexible OLED devices for the production of sustainable & eco-friendly lighting systems.
Objectives:
- Attain the r2r compatibility and lifetime extension of materials and devices suitable for printing and their encapsulation with high barrier materials for protection.
- Combination of novel materials into high-throughput r2r printing and patterning methods, like inkjet printing and laser patterning.
- Development of a r2r pilot system for flexible OLEDs fabrication. Implementation of three important processes: multilayer deposition, patterning and packaging.
